Our Mission

At The Adventure Collective, our mission is simple:

We bring travellers together through unforgettable, affordable, and expertly guided adventures, starting in Australia’s Top End and expanding to the world.

We believe travel is better when it’s shared.
Better with a group that feels like instant mates.
Better with local knowledge so there’s no guesswork, no stress, no fear of exploring alone.

We’re here to make bucket-list experiences accessible, to showcase the best of the places we love, and to build a global community connected through epic stories, lifelong friendships, and a shared passion for adventure.

Whether you're travelling solo for the first time or chasing your next thrill, you’ll never explore alone with us.

One Collective. Endless Adventure.

Our Story

We're Angus and Chloe, the Founders and guides of The Adventure Collective. After a couple of decades of our own adventures, we just so happened to find ourselves on one at the same time, in the same place!

As soon as we met, we were quick to learn that we had so many things in common, but the most obvious one was our shared passion for adventure. After our first adventure together, we were hungry for more.

Since then, our experiences and knowledge have grown so much that we wanted to share it with others. We teamed up to put our energy, passion and enthusiasm into showing you just how special and amazing the Top End is.

I was born in the northern suburbs of Adelaide and spent the first couple decades of my life there. Straight out of high-school, I knew I had to see more of the world before settling into a job, so I ripped into 72 hour work weeks to get that travel fund up. After I managed to scratch the travel itch a little bit, I spent 3 years in uni and a year in flight school. Then, I moved to the top end to start my career. The far north was the only region of Australia that I had not yet visited (except when I was a baby), I knew the Northern Territory would be different from the southern states, but this felt like a completely different world. And after seeing what the NT had to offer, I quickly fell in love and shortly after that: I met a girl and I fell inlove with her too…

I'm originally from the UK but moved to Australia when I was 22 as a backpacker with the plan to stay for 6 months... fast forward almost 4 years later and I'm still here, with no plan to ever leave! I've been on my fair share of side quests over the last 4 years, from working as a tour guide, housekeeper and in marketing, going somewhat viral on TikTok and hosting 4 group trips to 4 different countries through the power of TikTok! My love for travel, combined with my tourism industry experience and the TikTok community I've built over the last 4 years is the reason that I'm now able to turn everything I love into these tours: ticking off bucket list activities, meeting friends for life and making memories to last a life time!
